The Dr was great! It's the staff that was incompetent. The lady doing the exrays hurt my gums really bad. I have irregular bone under my tongue. She didn't care at all. 4 years later I went back for a cleaning. It was the same lady. She was much more gentle because I had complained. However she didn't do a complete cleaning of exray. I still had plaque on the inside of my bottom teeth when I got home. She didn't use the pick at all. Then they tried to bill me an additional $134 after Medicare already paid them! No other dentist has billed me since I've had Medicare. Now they are threatening me to send it to collectors. Usually they check insurance status BEFORE your visit!

Excellent customer service, excellent focus on the patient. We've all been at the point where we reluctantly made the trip to the dentist - only going because you have to. I had a number of bad experiences with Army dentistry, so when I got out and was given the option of choosing my own dentist, I shopped around a bit. I am glad I found Dr. Voigtel! Everyone on his staff is down-to-earth, personable, and knowledgeable. I look forward to my visits! Even on a tough case where I had a tricky crown to get fitted, they went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible and get the job done right. Two thumbs up!

My family and I recently relocated back to the area, and my son and I got on the list to be seen as new patients. Though having lived here previously I hadn't ever been to this practice. In fact, I generally try to take good care of my teeth, but historically have viewed going to the dentist a la the Little Shop of Horrors take. (I think there were some unpleasant childhood experiences as well). What was supposed to be a long wait to get in was expedited by someone's cancellation, and we showed up with little expectation. Immediately impressed by the outstanding building/facility with the inside decor, it was clear that a lot of love and care has been invested in this practice for some time. Dr Voigtel and his hygienists have taken very good care of me, both for routine visits and when I had an emergency visit. I've had dentists who shame and scold, and dentists who try to upsell treatments. Dr Voigtel is so much better! I never dread a visit to his office.
