Dental 1

My long time dentist retired a few years ago so I ended up going to a dentist in Lake Orion (I live in Oxford) that I was less than happy with..... Dental 1 was recommended by an extended family member (who also lives in Oxford) and totally worth the 35 minute drive. I always feel like I am in such good hands from start to finish...... Staff ~ receptionist and assistants are very nice and I actually enjoy my cleaning by hygienist Jennifer. Most importantly, Dr. Ben (Gietzen) is a great dentist with a wonderful chair side manner and very, very capable. Good doctors and dentists are not easy to find and I've been so pleased with everyone at Dental 1. Recommended without hesitation!

I learned so much from Karen, my hygienist. I've never experienced a cleaning that was focused on making me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr Alex was very positive and reassuring about my dental health. The receptionist was friendly. Truly a great experience!

About 4 years ago I met the Dental 1 family due to a tooth emergency. I later wrote a 5 Star review for my follow-up care. It has now been almost 5 years since I first met this great crew... and I still think the care is TOP NOTCH, the doctors are thorough and friendly, the staff is always delightful... and I am so happy with the regular care that I receive from Karen on my 3 cleaning appointments every year. I actually look forward to our scheduled visits - every patient is treated like family at Dental 1. My thanks to the entire Dental 1 staff!!!!

The whole staff was amazing when I went in for my new patient cleaning, from the front desk to my exam! Jenna took my X-Rays, and did great! Jen was my hygienist and I had Dr. Alex, I can’t recommend them more! Great experience!

Positive experience. The dentist was patient and made me feel comfortable.I had gas and they put chocolate in the nose thing. What a bonus. I had a tooth pulled. Dr Roach was awesome 😊
