Dansville Family Dental Care

Dansville Family Dental is friendly and welcoming. My hygienist was friendly, and made sure I knew exactly what she was doing and why. After my cleaning, Dr. Teachout came in and was very thorough. She also was very friendly and kind, and made sure I knew what the plan was moving forward. At checkout, I was given a detailed list of the work I need, along with a cost breakdown and estimate of what my insurance would cover. I would 100% refer others to this clinic. They are wonderful!

My hygienist was very kind and thorough. She noticed that I was chilly and asked if I would like a blanket! She covered me with a lovely plush towel She found in the back, so I was comfortable and at ease for the visit. I know the office takes great care for cleanliness and safety, because of the explanation she gave of all the measures taken at my prior visit to the office. Everyone was very friendly and kind at this office. Makes for a good experience. Thank you!

I WOULD not recommend this place if you use insurance that they accept to cover your dental work. They ARE NOT knowledgeable as to what insurance covers and doesn't cover. They'll do all the work wether your insurance covers it or not. I asked them repeatedly are you sure my insurance will cover this? Yes, yes they well... Now I'm stuck with a pretty high dental bill because of this office. The excuse they gave was they do what is necessary for the patient not what insurance will cover. I was NEVER given an estimated bill either. Just the bill that came in the mail that was shocking. Such a disgrace to scam people like this as dental work is expensive!

Just got done my treatments (root canal and cleaning) with Dr. Teachout. I’ve gone to others dentist before, but never had a good experience with dentist. I wish I had found her sooner!! She is secure and makes you feel comfortable. She is just AWESOME. She explained everything really thoroughly, and walked me through the various pictures and x-rays so I understood everything. Above the excellent dental care, all the other girls were very professional and friendly. They were so nice and welcoming and upbeat; the kind of people you want to interact when you are at a dental office. The office is very clean, and their tools and technology seemed to be the latest. What I liked the most was the TV they had in all rooms. I definitely recommend Dr. Teachout practice. What a great dentist!

Going to Dr Teachouts makes going to the dentist “ enjoyable “. Hygentist Cindy greets you, chats with you and does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth!
