Just saw a penny saver ad for the office that claimed things our family did not receive. Brought our 2 cats there and one was treated for diabetes Don’t ask question to dr Maloco she does not respond well to them. We ended up bringing them to Perry vet in Livonia and they were awesome. Also my daughter had been bringing her dog there for years and spent alot of money there and when it was time to euthanize him the whole procedure was the worst I had ever been to. He definitely seemed like he suffered during it and the attitude of the doctor was awful. Perry vet euthanized both our cats and the experience was the best for us and our cats. I would not recommend the facility. The ad in the penny saver sparked me to place this post.

I have 6 cats who are all now seeing a different vet. The first vet I saw here, a very nice and knowledgeable young woman, I loved. But apparently she is gone now, and the vet that is usually there now is very rude, disagreeable, and aggressive. When I tried to ask questions about establishing if my cat has a particular allergy, she became very defensive and downright aggressive. She treated me like I was an idiot, with no right to ask questions. If you want to have a reasonable discussion with your vet, this is not the place for you or your furbaby

Would not see my cat who they have seen before. They made me feel shamed for seeking vet care for my cat who needs medical attention and told me that, "since it's been so long since we've seen him and he hasn't had his vaccines, we recommend you go to an emergency vet." They have seen him before and he has had vaccines and been neutered. Now that he is having a real issue they don't want to see him. It's like they only want to do routine care and not vet care. I saw some other people talking about the cost to fix cats - we had a cat neutered here too. It was well over $300 which seems steep. I also took my dog here when he was diagnosed with early kidney failure. They told me they would send a prescription for kidney support dog food and never sent it. Amazing-10 stars! Our boy kitty was in the beginning stages of what seemed to be an uti. My regular vet was not helpful and referred me to emergency vet. I called eight emergency veterinary establishments and not one would see us. I remembered that a friend is a client here and called. Jenna was amazing! So calm and understanding on the phone and was able to squeeze me in between appointments. I was beyond grateful! They took us in and examined him and ran tests and treated him. The doctors explained everything and were very informative and understanding. My whole experience here was kind, caring and supportive. I highly recommend the Dansville Animal Hospital!!!

Awful experience. I tried getting pricing for spaying my kittens and the receptionist refused to disclose any prices. She said it varies based on weight. They're kittens. How much could it possibly vary? I asked for an estimate as they are only 5 lbs. She refused again. She stated I would first need to be seen for an appointment by the Dr and then they'd let me know. I explained how ridiculous it was to make me come in for unnecessary appointment as both kittens were just seen at a vet for all their shots a couple weeks ago. This place is just a money grab. In the end she said it would likely be over $300 per cat but she wouldn't give me a definite answer. I emailed another local vet and immediately received pricing and a date for the surgery!
