I love everyone up there but they need to get their phone system overhauled. I call everynight to check on my father and sometimes it takes 4 or 5 times to get through if at all. This is a very important service for those who live out of town On the other hand they are very good at letting me know whenever he has tried getting out of bed and bruised himself.. which is quite normal for him. They take excellent care of him and that is a huge relief. He loves the attention he gets from the staff also Thank you to the staff.. you are amazing

If putting a known epileptic in with a room mate who plays the television at maximum volume 24 hours a day when it is common knowledge that epileptics need peace and quiet especially during nights when they are trying to sleep and then when the epileptic displays obvious signs of seizures, then ignoring these signs for over 12 hours, then refusing to recognize these signs, spastic flailing about of limbs and whole body spasms, when a family member came to visit and politely asked at least 6 different staff members to treat these obvious symptoms, then this is the place for your family member. If after the family member decides that talking civilly to the staff is like talking to a brick wall and decides to call 911 to get his wife the simple and quick treatment that every EMT on every amb

Our Dad attended rehab here for approximately 13 days recently. He had taken a fall and needed care and support before making a long journey out of state to be closer to family. Our experiences were very good given the availability of beds and facilities (this part of Florida has very limited options which puts a large strain on providers). Overall the staff l, caregivers and nurses were very supportive and busy with patients the entire time. I visited Dad twice a day to support his return to an acceptable comfort level prior to his discharge. Partnerships between staff, patients and family is really the best option for supporting a healthy and workable experience. Food was very acceptable as well as cleanliness and overall care. Space is at a premium and modern upgrades are needed

Please review your mission statement with your administration and nursing staff. Therapy was great! But can’t say that for anyone else. Rereview your business processes, mission statement, and patient care procedures. They are severely lacking! There’s a total disconnect between administration and nursing staff! Make sure you are clear on each “individual” patient’s plan of care! Again, it all begins with everyone knowing and living your mission statement! Highly disappointed with my loved one’s experience. For anyone looking at a place for their loved ones….give Cypress Cove time do a reexamination process on their care for patients. It needs a lot of work!

My dad was in there for Rehab. He ended up with COVID. My mom tried to explain his prior health issues with his lungs and what he needed medically. They kept saying they would get the medication and IV fluids he needed, he received only one IV of fluids. They had a doctor on his chart, another one on his wrist band, and another seeing him. None of them talked to the other and there never was clear orders of what he was to be given. He also was in pain. His room was at the end of the hall. HE HAD TO WAIT IN PAIN, until he receivedd his pain medication. He had to call my mom at when she went home and have her call the head nurse to ask for pain meds.He also was supposed to be on a special diet to keep his kidneys from having issues. They gave him foods he shouldn't have had. And they staff di
