Horrible service. The line was extremely long and when I finally made it to the counter I was told my insurance was not applied. This was very frustrating because this was the third time I’ve had issues with my insurance not being applied but I’ve haven’t changed insurance….then to make matters worse after getting that fixed I was told I would be helped next, only for the gentleman at the register to say “I clock out in nine minutes”. I get it you’re tired and ready to leave but that was very unprofessional. Then the icing on top? I wasn’t even helped next. The employee tried to skip me and help someone else after being told 5 seconds ago I was next. He was so focused on clocking out he wasn’t paying attention to the customers in front of him. He also had a very nasty attitude during check
This is the worst CVS! I have had problems with them for years, over charging, waiting an hour for scheduled vaccines, get to location and prescriptions not ready after they called me just to name a few. I never complained until today. I went to pick up my prescription. They close at 4pm. I got there at 3:45pm there was a line and they are slow as usual. At 3:55 the line had wrapped around and was down the aisle. They announced at 4:05 the register will shut down automatically in 4 minutes and I was next. By the time it was my turn they refused me and everyone behind me stating that it shuts down automatically. However there was a person that had been waiting and they called her over and rang her up. If the register had shut down automatically they should not have been able to ring her up.
I waited in line at the drive thru for more than 25 minutes only to find out they couldn't serve me because their equipment had failed. I was told to go inside, where I was told to get in line, once agian, instead of completing the order I had given them at the drive thru. This is't the first issue I've had with this pharmacy. They have on several occasions tried to charge me more than what was due because they didn't apply all of my insurance coverages. I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE!
When rite aid closed, I chose to go to Walgreens. The lines for the pharmacy are always s o o long. Now they're calling that they filled an Rx, w/o authorization from Dr or my request. You cannot call them, no one answers the phone. I had to call corporate to get this nonsense stopped. As for the main store, it is usually out of basics. I take a Zyrtec every day, I check the CVS as they're only 2 blocks away, & they're out. Same with baby aspirin. Same with Ben gay. CVS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. One time I walked into the store, it was evening, it was winter, it was night out, & no one was even in the store. Scary, I couldn't back out fast enough. I fail to understand how they stay in businesss
Horrible pharmacy! They don't know how a prior authorization works! My son has been on a medication for 16 yrs! His Dr sent over his prescription and they won't refill it. 1st they said there's an over the counter medicine which I explained doesn't work. Then they said it needs a prior! Dr did a prior and it was approved 2 weeks ago! These people still won't give my son his medicine insisting he can only get the over the counter one!! Then they said my son's Dr made a mistake and sent the wrong medication! The same Dr who has been prescribing the same medication for 16 yrs! No matter how many times I've explained the name of the medication prescribed and how it's been approved they still won't fill it! Saying this pharmacy is incompetent is an understatement!
