CVS Pharmacy

I am writing this after multiple frustrating experiences at this pharmacy over several months. Unfortunately, the issue is not a single incident but a consistent pattern of poor communication and customer service. I have repeatedly received conflicting information about how to update my prescription to delivery. On one visit, I was told this must be done at drop-off. The drop-off line is often extremely long, making this impractical. On a later visit when there was no line at drop-off, I was then told it must be done in the app. This kind of inconsistency creates unnecessary extra trips and delays for patients. Very disappointed in the service at the pharmacy. I went to pick up my prescription 20min after my appointment. They stated they did not have it and that they were closing 15 min. I called my dr and they stated that they had called it in because cvs was having problems with the electronic submittal- and now they called it in a second time. The cashier was rude and annoyed that i was trying to see if it had entered their system. With 1 minute left she acknowledged that it was in the system and that it would be ready for pick up in the morning. Even after standing there and waiting20 min- and it being THEIR equipment that was malfunctioning. Very frustrated with this location’s service. I have visited the drive-thru pharmacy window before. However, this time was different. I was greeted with a tall, kind, warm, and BRIGHT smiling face that just lit up the drive-thru. I could hear the genuine kindness in his tone and voice and saw joy that was on his face on the beginning of a miserable snowy and dangerous driving condition day. The interaction with him made me smile and made my heart smile with his positive good mood and tone. I can honestly say that he made my day brighter and that much better when I was picking up medication for my eye so I can go back to teaching sooner than later. I wish I knew his name to thank him for making my day better and making my heart smile.

CVS is awesome. I got a vaccine today. The person giving the shots is friendly, cheerful and very professional. My only complaint about CVS is that they are so so busy, but I see that they are well staffed to try to keep up with the demands. Don’t go there when you’re in a hurry. The lines are usually long and they are attentive to the person they’re attending. This is a good thing.

I came to CVS today in a terrible state. I needed to use the bathroom really bad, it was an emergency. I had already asked a couple other businesses and been turned away. I used the internet to find a place that had a public restroom and found this CVS nearby to my location. I was elated and then incredibly disappointed when I made my way to the sequestered corner of the store to find that somebody was already using the single-occupant restroom. The clock was ticking and I was close to losing control over my bladder. I flagged down what appeared to be a manager and asked if I could use the employee restroom.
