Sending a $2k phone for repair with just a sticker holding the box closed is insane. Heck even Walgreens when sending FedEx let's you use their tape. Ups pays drop centers for them to use tape if needed not supply the tape. First time I had to send something ups since staples left and they wouldn't act like this. Staples also said "we get paid by ups to use the tape we have". Meanwhile CVS I get a piece of a sticker to hold my box close, they wouldn't let me use the tape, and I have to leave and come back with my own tape because at that point CVS is done getting my money.
1/28/2026 Worst CVS I've been to! NEED PRICE AUDIT! Didn't offer cash back. Items rang up incorrectly. All the employees cared about was my CVS card #, do you have a card? How much you planning on spending? How about offering even reasonable service. The stuff in here is jacked up 3x the price and offered at bogo with a CVS card. Ripoff
They have always treated me kindly. Today while there the Pope made a visit (aka the pharmacist)
We came on a Sunday afternoon after trying to get our medicine at Walgreens and they wouldn’t take our insurance. Our doctor was suppose to send it to here but didn’t, but Gracee called over and got the prescription and fit it in so my daughter could get it tonight.
The CVS store in Mt. Vernon Illinois is the best. They are always so friendly and helpful. I never have any problems with my service and I highly recommend this story for all your health and beauty products. Kelli Croteau
