Costco Pharmacy

I had a family emergency which required me to fly in a day. Doctor approved my meds to be filled early. Unfortunately, insurance denied it because it was to early, but I could pay out of pocket. At almost a thousand dollars I wasn't prepared for that. Luckily Eileen said she could call them to see what she could do. Shortly there after I received a call. It was Eileen with news that it was approved, so now I can fly! I can't thank her enough for going to the trouble to help me. And she could have just hung up on me! Costco pharmacy staff are all greatly helpful and considerate.

I’m very disappointed with the experience my patient had at this Costco Pharmacy yesterday. I had called in a prescription for her right after her major dental appointment and left a detailed voicemail an hour before she arrived. She was already at Costco shopping for about 45 minutes, but when she went to pick up her medication, she was told there was no prescription on file. She called me, and I confirmed that I had left the voicemail earlier, so I asked her to have the pharmacy staff check their messages. Instead of helping, the pharmacist told her they were training new people and hadn’t received any voicemail. To make matters worse, my patient overheard the pharmacist complaining about people who “leave voicemails instead of submitting prescriptions electronically.” Dental offices do

The pharmacy is NOT open at 9am as it claims. It opens at 10am like the rest of the store. (Unless you upgrade your membership or are elderly.) Please update your hours so people don’t go out of their way to come pick up a prescription then get turned away!!

This pharmacy has excellent customer service. They are kind and communicative when it comes to filling my prescriptions. Every person I’ve interacted with has been positive and efficient.

Really good pharmacy for the most part Dave is a friendly and professional pharmacist the other staff are also very professional as well. With the costco membership and my insurance and the discounts its amazing low to no co-pays! def- recommend if you have a costco membership!
