Costco Pharmacy

At the Costco Pharmacy I bought a prescription medication for my dog, which was ordered by the veterinarian who treated her. There was a discrepancy in the dosage stated on the label vs the markings on the oral syringe. I gave the meds twice before I found out fr the vet Dr that this was 3 times the correct dose. This is a big overdose! The vet Dr told me to NOT get pet meds filled at Costco, only get them from the facility where your pet was seen.

Tl;dr: The pharmacist threw tech/cashier under the bus when called out about not following pharmacy law. Then treated my husband and I differently (worse) after being reported. All my prescriptions have been moved to another pharmacy. I started moving prescriptions to my semi-local Costco a few months ago and the entire thing has been, keeping it clean, a clown show. I was newly diagnosed with a chronic condition that would need daily medications and being that my local pharmacy had closed, wanted to see if Costco pharmacy would be cheaper and/or better. The biggest issue I had was that the new medicines I was being put on included injectables. Not once was I offered counseling about any of these new medicines, which for a pharmacist in IL, is illegal. I personally wasn’t affected direc

They text me to let me know what needs to be filled I text them back, not to long of lines but as far as scheduling immunizations I've been trying for a 1/2 hour doesn't guide you to do so I am on the website. I get all my prescriptions & immunizations there.

We recently switched to Costco due to our normal pharmacy not being about to get the medication I take. The tech or whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and had zero customer service skills. 2 stars because this is the only place I can get my meds.

They definitely have terrible management. We scheduled the appointment to get covid vaccine days ago, they seems did not plan for those scheduled appointments, till you showed up, they told you "oops, we just have finished all the vaccine doses...". and the pharmacist sounds like very impatient...
