I recently graduated from Concordia University’s ABSN program. I want to be very clear from the outset: I graduated with good grades and completed the program successfully. This is not the perspective of a student who failed or could not handle the rigor. I am writing this review because I sincerely wish someone had warned me before I enrolled. I hope this saves future students the nearly $80,000 I lost to this program. Please consider almost any other nursing school before choosing Concordia. I completed prerequisites at Austin Community College, which was immeasurably better in organization, instruction, and professionalism. I have also heard positive things about St. Edward’s and Texas A&M’s ABSN programs. My experience at Concordia stood in stark contrast. NCLEX Pass Rates & Attriti

Was considering transferring to this nursing school but the reviews on Google and Reddit were horrific. Also, the admissions people call your phone so much. It gave used car salesman rather than an institution for higher learning. When I questioned the admissions person about the horrible graduation rates she said “that doesn’t sound like my data. Do you know which cohort?” I also planned on using my gi bill and the costs were outrageous compared to more prestigious nursing programs like at UT.

My experience with the nursing program at Concordia University Texas left much to be desired. The program was poorly equipped to handle the number of students enrolled, often lacking the necessary materials and resources needed for effective learning. Clinical sites were sometimes unsafe and didn’t provide a conducive environment for gaining practical skills. Instructors were often unavailable, leaving students with minimal guidance. Tuition charges for GI Bill students were consistently higher than for non-GI Bill students, despite advertised rates suggesting otherwise. This discrepancy raises concerns about transparency in billing practices. Additionally, the grading policies were not clearly communicated and seemed inconsistent. The requirement to pass nursing courses with a minimum g

My experience in the nursing program was horrible. They admitted too many students into the program and would not recommend to any students wanting to take it. The professor got his degree online and somehow landed a job in the University. They also treated me horribly, just because I didn't understand or spoke Tagalog. They also don't have the effective environment for learning and the professor gave the material like he was giving a dunkin order and expected us to do something with it. The Clinic site I worked at, I got punctured with a dirty needle and the nurse I was shadowing gave me a Band-Aid and said "Your alright." 1/10 would not recommend.

treats students horrifically. would not recommend to ANY students seeking a nursing program. they do not even try to consider anything from the student’s perspective. i would leave 0 stars if i could but 1 star is unfortunately required. seek elsewhere for a nursing program!! anywhere else!!!
