Complete Care at La Plata

My mother was transferred to this facility for PT because she lost the ability to walk after she had 2 strokes. I didn’t know much about the facility but I trusted the nurses and doctors for my mother’s care. My mother was in bad shape I will admit. I visited her everyday, communicated with the nurses and monitored how my mother’s care was going. Let me be clear there were some amazing nurses and doctors who I felt truly looked out for my mom, but when they weren’t there it was nerve wracking. Weekend nurses were the worst. The maintenance supervisor was even great, whenever there was a TV issue or AC issue he was always there to help. At first all seemed okay but as time went on I started seeing the reality. She was sitting in soiled diapers for hours on end, causing terrible rashes. She

Day One - The staff has made my father-in-law feel welcome and encouraged that his rehab journey will be successful. The nurses are so kind, compassionate and caring! My father-in-law has never been away from home. They make him feel good and they treat him with kindness and respect always. The center is older but the staff is amazing! Thank you for doing for him and helping him get stronger! ❤️

It's very disheartening and disappointing that you all continue to make sure you address people in the comments on Google but cannot address the real issues at your facility. You all clearly do not strive to make sure your guest are taken care of or cared for the catheter bag was full had to ask for that to be done. The staff is dismissive when you bring up a concern This place is horrible they do not care for your loved ones for real your facility is disgusting, your staff do not pay attention you were told multiple times about my grandmother's allergies and still continued to bring foods that she cannot eat. There were multiple bugs in the room it took for me to get them myself because we waited over two hours for someone to address the issue. They didn't even have a pillow case on her

Complete Care at La Plata is the last place to send someone you love. I checked a loved one in earlier today and left feeling awful about the arrangements. The greeting from the receptionist was the high point of my visit; literally everything else was downhill. The facilities are the worst part of it all. The place smelled of urine as we walked in and appeared run down and neglected. Unless you are impressed by jigsaw puzzles and a poorly arranged courtyard, you’re stuck in a dump during your stay. The facility offered rooms with luxuries such as a curtain to separate roommates’ lines of sight (but no sound buffer), stock beds with a button to call for staff (better call 30 minutes in advance if you need to use the bathroom), and a TV (10 feet from the bed and only watchable if you cran

Words cannot describe how thankful and fortunate i am to have this place be where my mother is getting her rehabilitation. From Delora doing everything in her power working with the hospital she was in to bring her there, to every person i came into contact with while visiting her, who were all very nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and who can tell truly care about the loved oned who are under their care. There is no other place i would want her to be. Even my mother who was extremely apprehensive of going into any kind of center, is very happy and pleased with how she is being treated. This is now the only place i will think about if future events happen to take place. And will also be the place i will fully endorse to any of my friends if they ever are in need of the same services.
