Complete Care at Clark

My mother was admitted to Complete Care at Clark following a partial hip replacement. Less than 24 hours later, I demanded her discharge due to verbal and physical abuse by a night-shift CNA and unsanitary conditions within the facility. During the night, the CNA refused to assist my mother to the bathroom and told her to “go ahead” on her own. My mother explained that she had undergone hip replacement surgery just two days prior and could not ambulate independently, the CNA responded, “I don’t want to touch you.” When my mother asked for help getting back into bed, the CNA forcefully flung her leg, causing severe pain. This is one of the worst places you could put your one. They don't even deserve a one star. I don't know who is giving this place a 5. From the top down it was a disaster. The administration to the nursing staff, PT. The place is DIRTY. Trying to get a nurse or CNA was a joke, either it wasn't there side (ex. room, wing)to work or I'm from the agency so I don't know. Complaining only frustrated you more. It's all about the money. My dad fell I had to ask for an x-ray they stated he didn't seem to be hurt, WTH is that he was there because of a back injury. I could go on and on about this place. Bottom line one of the worst decision I've ever made. He health really declined from this place. Don't be fooled by the pictures they posted. I recently visited a friend at Complete Care at Clark Rehabilitation and was very impressed. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff is caring, attentive, and always helpful, which gives me peace of mind knowing my friend is in good hands. She shared that the food is very good and that the physical therapy team has been excellent in supporting her recovery. It’s clear that the residents receive quality care here, and I’m truly grateful she’s in such a positive environment.

If you love your family member, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. My father was recovering from a minor stroke at this disgusting facility. I repeatedly found his medication on the floor (he also had a heart condition) and the nurse was nasty to me when I asked her why I was finding his medication on the floor. I called the administrator numerous times with no response about the awful care my father was receiving. The entire 2nd floor smells like urine. The nurses were also lying to my father telling him “you’re going home tomorrow” when he wasn’t set to leave for weeks. All he wanted to do was go home. He was confused from the stroke. When we confronted them they said “we tell him he’s going home to calm him down”. It didn’t calm him down. It made him get very upset when he didn’t actually leave the

Very outdated and has all the same floors and rooms closets bedside tables etc from 20 years ago. My friend is having trouble communicating her needs with the staff as most don’t speak English. Food is awful but it’s awful in all these places. She says PT is very good so I guess that’s the most important.
