Advocare Summit Pediatrics- Clark

We’ve been extremely happy with the care we have received over the past two years here for our son. Especially their availability for short notice sick visits. The staff is super friendly and competent and all of the doctors are great!

As both a parent and a board-certified family nurse practitioner, I was shocked by how this practice treated my family. My stepchildren, Cole and Leo, had appointments to establish care that were abruptly canceled less than one business day before—no explanation, no call. Then, on Nov 8, I received a FedEx Overnight letter dated Nov 7 terminating my infant daughter from the practice, despite her being fully insured and due for her 2nd flu shot on Nov 24. There was no discussion, no warning, and no opportunity for resolution. I faxed the practice from my own clinic, messaged the physician on Doximity, and emailed hospital leadership—no response. My wife, who had recently told the doctor she was struggling with depression, cried the entire afternoon after receiving the letter. Three insure

I was excited to bring my daughter here, but I was extremely disappointed to learn that they don’t accept patients without insurance, even when I offered to self-pay as I have done at other places. It’s frustrating that this option wasn’t available, especially when many people prefer or need to pay out of pocket. It seems like a poor practice to turn away patients willing to cover their expenses, and I hope they reconsider this policy in the future.

Caring and attentive staff and wonderful doctors. We felt seen and heard. Our baby is very well cared for which is all we wanted for our son. The office feels like a private experience because they space out all patients so well. When We needed some consultation over the phone for our son, we were promptly reached out to and put at ease regarding our concerns.

I normally go to the summit location but my sons DR he normally goes to is at the Clark location on Friday’s. The parking is way better, no paying for parking and having to deal with a parking deck. The staff is super nice and treated my son warmly with open arms. I think I may start going to this location more now, took me about the same amount of time traveling to Clark as it does to summit.
