Community Health Center - Bourne Retail Pharmacy

I am not one to write reviews good or bad unless there was something that really stood out to me. I recently switched to Community Health Center- Bourne Retail Pharmacy and have nothing but good things to say about them :). All of the staff members are very helpful and always greet me with a smile! Quick story, a couple of days ago I had been trying to get to the pharmacy all day but things kept getting in the way so I didn't make it there until 2 minutes before closing. I felt really bad but I had already driven 20 minutes just to get there. Anyways, they pulled up my prescription and realized that it would need to be filled. I asked if they could please do it today, she was hesitant (I'm sure due to closing time) but with a smile responded with a yes. Neither of the women owed me anythin

MY PCP office is physically attached to this pharmacy, and is also associated directly. Both times that I've attempted to use this pharmacy to fill a prescription I was met with questions for my doctor, questions that I didn't have the answer to, etc, for a prescription sent from a doctor within their organization, in their own building. Then just never heard from the pharmacy again. Never filled Rxs. Based on my experience, I have observed that this pharmacy was not able to, or would not bother to get the information they needed from my care team to fill my prescriptions, or send me any kind of updates on the prescription status, etc- via mychart, or the text alerts that I have on multiple occasions confirmed that I've opted into. Best pharmacy staff! I left a big chain pharmacy that I had used for 35+ years to come to CHC pharmacy; specifically for the customer service here. They go above and beyond to help in any way.

CHC is always there for me when I need them! It’s a nice place to belong to as you can see your doctor, your gyno, your eye, doctor, and your dentist, in the same building, as well as your shrink and Therapist LOL

Doctors are great, but the system that supports them when dealing with insurance is terrible.
