Commonwealth Pediatric Dental

Every dentist and assistant we’ve worked with in the office have all been amazing! They are always great with my son, patient and thorough. Dr. Murphy also surgically removed one of my sons teeth and he made sure my son and I were put at ease and knew what was happening and to be expected throughout the whole process. There’s a reason so many of my friends and family recommended them when I was looking for a pedi dentist! I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a dentist for their child(ren)!

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this office. My 5 year old son was seen by Dr. Murphy for his first filling, and I was unhappy with how both the doctor and the hygienist handled the appointment. I had high hopes for a “pediatric” dental office, especially since we previously had positive experiences there for cleanings. To begin, the hygienist placed the nitrous oxide mask on my child from behind the chair without any warning or explanation to him about what it was. He was confused about what had just been put on his face, and I had to explain to him that it was extra air to help him breathe. I was surprised that no one prepared him beforehand. After Dr. Murphy did the numbing medication, my son’s mouth became very drooly, which is to be expected for a 5 year old

Dr. Murphy has always been amazing! It’s truly a pleasure working with him. He is kind, patient, and makes every visit a positive experience. The dental hygienists are also wonderful—so friendly and caring. We couldn’t ask for a better pediatric dental office!

Fantastic first visit!! Brought my 4 and 2 year old girls! They did great! everyone made us feel super comfortable. Our hygienist was so nice and the girls were comfortable right away! Dr Murphy was super informative, I am a hygienist myself ( not pediatrics) and learned a lot about my kids dental health in just one appointment here! Glad to have our dental home here!

Always so impressed with Commonwealth Pediatric Dental each time we leave an appointment. Incredibly friendly staff who are excellent at communicating and engaging with both children and parents. I would recommend Dr. Murphy and his team to absolutely anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.
