Comfort Dental

Had a tooth pulled, they were great with the numbing and the extraction went smoothly. BUT unfortunately I had a 5mm sinus perforation. That was an unfortunate thing, to my knowledge it was because the root of my tooth had grown up into my sinus and when it was pulled it ripped he membrane. (This is the other dentist's theory) I called to tell them within 2 hours that I was having air moving through the hole where the tooth had been. I was brushed off and told to watch for the basic signs of infection. The air stopped just being a feeling and I started HEARING it whistle through the opening. So I went back to the office... My nightmare before Christmas began on the evening of December 22nd when I was eating and my crown tooth that holds my partial in place fell out. This was a nightmare for sure knowing that my girlfriend and I were having our first Christmas together and would soon be spending Christmas Eve with her whole family undoubtedly taking pictures and enjoying the festivities. I knew that I would be calling around in the morning scrambling to figure out who could fix it and how much it would cost with my not having insurance but knew I had to find a way. I woke with hope in my heart when I opened my Facebook and saw an ad about all Comfort dental locations nationwide doing free dental care from 7:30 am until noon. As soon as I walked in, I knew what I was getting myself into—the office was noticeably dirty. I came in to have cavities filled, but after finally being taken back to a chair, I sat there for 55 minutes with no explanation. The hygienist had no idea why I was there, even after looking at my X-rays. While I was waiting, one of the hygienists in the back was loudly belching, and the staff around her were laughing about it. It was unprofessional and honestly made me really uncomfortable. The dentist was still taking their time before seeing me, so I excused myself and left before they could begin any dental work. I did not feel safe or confident being treated here.

I have only had wonderful experiences at this dental office. Everyone is extremely polite and professional. I actually drove 1.5 hours to come here because I moved and only want to be seen here. The facility was clean and the staff was very on top of sanitizing everything they used. I will definitely continue to come here. I wish I would have got the name of the dentist that fixed my filling today. She was so kind and did such an amazing job. I hope the next time I come, I see her again.

I was very nervous going in considering it had been a long time since I had been to the dentist. The dental assistant and dentist explained everything to me. The entire staff was so nice. I highly recommend.
