Rude staff and excuses cost this practice a loyal patient. It is a shame to leave a pediatrician I love (Dr. Toth) after 11 years, but the front desk and front desk staff management has made it impossible to stay. The culture at the front desk is rude, dismissive, and disorganized. When you walk in everyone keeps their eyes on their computer screen and no one ever greets you except Addy. It's like no one truly wants to help. Today I experienced a total failure of service: I was left on an open line for 25 minutes by a receptionist named Shannon, hung up on by a second staff member when I called to check in, and only received help when I finally reached Addy on a third attempt. I like Dr Blake, but something needs to change when it comes to referring to an ENT. The rule of thumb in the office is that they only refer you of your child has 3 ear infections on 6 months. Both my kids have gone there since birth. Both my kids are severely speech delayed because I was told that they were “fine”. Upon taking them to Ohio ENT from our speech therapists suggestion…they both had full fluid in both ears. My youngest saw the doctor for his 2 year checkup and was told he was fine. Dr Blake suggested he might need tested for autism. No autism. He can’t hear…now he could have possible hearing loss because of this. I’m switching practices currently. Our doctor, Jennifer Burkam, is the best. My family had been using this clinic since 2007. My daughter is now 28 (she had different Dr.) and my son is now 6. We still use it and absolutely happy with our doctor Jennifer Burkam.

I’m extremely disappointed with the billing practices at Pediatric Associates. We recently had two consecutive sick visits for our child, and despite both being for the same issue, the clinic used different billing codes. As a family, we had no way of knowing this discrepancy until our insurance processed the claims and we were unexpectedly charged. When we reached out to their billing department to correct what we believed was clearly an error on their part, they refused to take responsibility or make any adjustments. Their response was unapologetic and dismissive — essentially telling us we’re free to move to a different practice if we’re not satisfied. That level of indifference is unacceptable, especially when it comes to the care and financial wellbeing of families. We will be switc
