I just wanted to leave a few words about my experience at Columbia Street Dental. I must say that I am a bit reluctant because I don’t want to help increase their list of patients. That would be very selfish of me though. I have nothing but a huge amount of praise for the entire staff. From the warm welcome, smiles and laughter at the front end to the doctors in the back of the house. Top notch. Specifically, Dr. Sharma is the best. Very professional yet some comforting laughter is what you can expect in the chair. His assistant, I wish I could recall her name, is the very best. Never have I had a bad experience with this team. I am a recently new patient of Columbia Street Dental. I am someone who is terrified of the dentist. It's the one thing I can't do without shaking with anxiety. The entire practice is filled with lovely people, welcoming and caring people. I've never waited long to be seen, had long wait times with making appointments etc. The receptionists are always full of smiles and great at making sure you get the appointment times that work for you and even squeezing you in if it's possible. Dr. Sharma is absolutely amazing, he always made sure I was comfortable during any procedure and ensured I felt no pain. He is caring, attentive and super gentle. Quite possibly the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. The star is for the incredibly kind administrative staff who were never anything but helpful. I was a patient of Dr. Steinberg for several years, as this is one of the only dental offices that accepted my insurance, and I needed an extensive amount of work done, including a bridge and several crowns. At first, I felt cared for and like my needs were being considered. Somewhere during the pandemic, the quality of care I received significantly declined. Dr. Steinberg, who is normally laid back and jokey to an almost concerning degree, became irritable and snappy with me during procedures, rude to his assistants, never wore a mask, and once accidentally let spittle from his own mouth fly into mine while chatting with the hygienist (a

Always professional and pleasant! Flexible scheduling. Bright, clean office. Techs engage in continuing education for the most up to date information. Even though no one likes going to the dentist, they make it as pleasant and painless as possible.

I highly recommend this practice. They are responsive, kind, and listen to their patients. I am terrified of dental procedures and have been treated with absolute patience and respect. I was worried when Dr. Marji left, but have found Dr. Sharma to be equally gentle, kind and patient. I've had several different procedures done, including an extraction, and each practitioner has made every effort to make it as painless and "unterrifying" as possible. The dental assistants are truly wonderful, and the office staff are professional and helpful.
