Columbia Memorial Bone & Joint

Our family has had overall good experiences with The Bone and Joint Centers doctors. Appointments are easy to get and usually not a long wait at all. The waiting room time is rarely more than 30 minutes behind on your scheduled time and the doc usually shows up in your room within ten to twenty minutes of you being placed in there. Their billing is through Columbia Memorial Hospital and super easy to pay through the"My Chart" app. For bone and joint related issues around the mid Hudson valley area we choose Columbia B & J over Albany B & J anyday.

I went in with only a 10% range of motion in my neck. Kristin and Kate were able to get me up to 50%, which was a big achievement for me. They were very knowledgeable, put me at ease, and knew exactly what to do. I was very encouraged with the immediate results. When I told them I had vision issues, they printed out the home exercises with enlarged print so I could see them easily. The reception staff is also excellent . They go above and beyond the call of duty, checking on elderly patients to make sure they are stable and comfortable, even bringing out chairs for them so they could wait by the door to await their ride. I was very impressed with everyone and highly I recommend this physical therapy group.

The lack of ability of this office to get an MRI sent to an actual place that does them is astounding. My husband was seen weeks ago and sent for an MRI - so far to three different places that can't even do one. We asked it to be sent to the SPHP network since none of their 3 locations could schedule it. Finally, after numerous phone calls and promises, a new script was sent to the new imaging location. FOR AN XRAY. We've spoken to numerous office members and just nothing has gotten resolved. As of today, we are back to an MRI being canceled and an XRay being ordered again (he already had one). I'm just disgusted with the entire thing. I wouldn't recommend this nightmare to anyone. Meanwhile, my husband is in agony, cannot sleep, and whatever he's going to need, this office has made it

The entire staff were extremely supportive. This was an unusual circumstance, that required a couple of emergency surgeries and then a few more surgeries. Dr G and Dr Pace performed the surgeries and did an exceptional job. While I was in the hospital, both Doctors were incredibly encouraging, as was Dr DIgi. Upon release from the hospital, all of the visits to the office were extremely positive and the entire staff were wonderful. Defying the odds!

Dr Shin has no consideration for anybody time but her own . Twice so far I have showed for an early appointment ly to find she's not there or today the entire office is closed. I lost several hours of pay both times because I had to take time off work. If I didn't show for an appointment they would charge me $25. Catherine Shin and her office staff could use a lesson on how to properly conduct .business
