Dr Clawson was able to work me in for an emergency root canal the week before Christmas. It’s so rare to have a specialist that is caring, gentle and thorough through every aspect of treatment. Dr. Clawson is highly skilled and professional. I came to him for a re-infection on a tooth that had a previous root canal. He prepared two clear plans for me: a retreatment and a backup plan for an apicoectomy. He used the latest technology and bioactive materials (MTA), and successfully performed the retreatment through my existing crown with microscopic precision, saving the crown itself. He was also generous enough to waive part of the X-ray fees. What impressed me most was the post-op care. When I felt some pressure a week later, he saw me immediately for a follow-up. He accurately diagnosed it as a gum issue rather than a root issue, and as he predicted, the discomfort disappeared within a few days without further intervention. Highly recommend him for complex cases.

I had two (2) re-treat root canals performed the same day by Dr Clawson about 3 weeks ago, and I have never felt better. A "Re-Treat" is when old root canals need a complete overhaul again from the top of the tooth to the end of the roots. Mine were 32 years old and above the normal average of 25-30 years. I had met other endodontists and was warned about pain afterward that could last up to a year. I have NOT had pain at all, even from the very next day moving forward. This doctor is a medical genius.
