CityMD Riverhead Urgent Care - Long Island

My veteran friend with severe lung injury needed an inhaler and on Sunday we were the last patient. We went to CVS where they never received the prescription, the pharmacist said the scripts come instant like and email. We waited over 30 minutes and called City MD which I left a message which is useless because it’s a voicemail. We ended up buying OTC Primatine inhaler, which helps but not as well. I hope that CVS could maybe extend the call hours so if this occurs to a last patient, if there is one right before closing that someone can answer the call up to 30 minutes after they leave if they send a prescription. I had a good experience here. I had my fingers mashed and cut by my mower blade. Blood everywhere. Doctor sewed me up and even the hand specialist I saw said it was a good job. Reception handled my paperwork seamlessly .

Came here today for a cough. Everyone was super nice and the doctor helped my cough go away. No wait and staff was super knowledgeable!!

Showed up with 100.5 temp, thick yellow mucus from my nose, chest congestion, body aches, lethargic, and watery stool for two weeks. I get swabbed for COVID and flu, all negative. Dr. Comes in without a mask tells me the mucus is normal, and after listening to me breath tells me he's not giving me antibiotics because it's the last thing I need. I saw the female physician or nurse practitioner I'm not sure what her license is but I saw her two times a year and a half ago. I had told her i had been having a fever with a terrible chest infection to which both times she dismissed me and said I had a virus and to go home. I had a fever for an entire week when I went back a 3rd time and saw a different gentleman (one of the practicing doctors). They FINALLY gave me a chest x-ray and he seemed so befuddled as to why I hadn't received one the 2 times I was there previously. They gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way.
