Customer Reviews
Eye Dr is the best I’ve had. But the glasses staff left me feeling guilty after spending hundreds on my glasses. After three attempts to get my glasses properly fitted I had to take them to a different specialist in town who had no issue fitting them to my face and being nice while doing it. See the doctor here but buy your glasses, lenses etc elsewhere.
Highly recommend! I was very impressed and extremely pleased with the care I received at City Eye Care. Dr. Dubicki was fabulous -- took his time, and was very thorough ... and I now have the best prescription I've had in ages! One thing that really pleased me: there was no hard sell "you've got to get these expensive designer glass frames" kind of thing. Dr. Dubicki and the staff were very focused (no pun intended) on making sure I was happy with my prescription, not on trying to upsell me into things I didn't want. Can't say enough good things about this place!
Most of the reviews here are really old, so I thought I'd add an update. I came here just for glasses (I seen an ophthalmologist elsewhere and got a Rx from him). I haven't worked w/ Dr. Dubicki but he seems nice and professional. The glasses selection, ordering and adjustment process were excellent. They have a big selection of updated, interesting frames (no wasted space on that obligatory case of ugly giant frames). Dena and Anna are the office staff/opticians and have been great... even when I had trouble getting used to a new style/size frame, Dena did everything possible to make my glasses right. I kept thinking I'd walk in again and she'd give me that "ugh, not you again" look, but she was always happy to help! I love my glasses and will continue to go back to City Eye Care.
Dr. John Dubicki has been my Optometrist for 18 years. Very helpful and knowledgeable in eye prescriptions, contact lenses and eye diseases. Not a bad hockey player also. As far as staff, they come and go. I'm a business owner and I can tell you it is difficult to find great employees. Nobody wants to work. Especially now!
I like the Dr. he was so helpful and all the tests was great, but the staff follow up for my new frame and lens that I ordered was to poor. They told me it would take 2 weeks for my new glasses to be ready, but it took 5 weeks and it is not acceptable. the Dr. is 5 star, but the staff service is 1 star, that is why I gave 3 star.
