Dr is great but trying to schedule a sick visit here is always a hassle. You can call within 5 mins of them opening and they're already full. Time to find a Dr office that can actually see sick kids.

This medical clinic refused to see my grandson because he had a cold. We were told that the doctor had been sick and had a procedure done so she could not see him, although we had an appointment for a general checkup. We noticed that they did see other children. Why turn away a child with a cold, but no fever?

I recently brought my newborn to Children’s Medical Clinics in Kaufman, TX, for routine care—and the overall experience was deeply disappointing. The issues began with the front desk staff: they were startlingly rude and argumentative, even questioning the date of my baby’s birth during the scheduling of the one-month check-up. It felt as though they believed they knew better than me, the child’s own mother. It mattered because insurance won't approve unless it's the one month check up. It also mattered because I'm literally the child's mother that just gave birth to him. After I insisted on the correct date, they responded dismissively and ultimately stated there was nothing they could do to assist me as I was wrong. If I could give a zero start I would. Made an appointment, was called to have it rescheduled due to Doctor having a family emergency. Not a problmenat all. Appointment was for today, I show up 15 minutes early and was told my appointment was canceled due to cont confirming. I was not sent an email amd didn't recieve a call, was able to show them on the call log that the last call was from when THEY called me to reschedule. She said maybe they didn't send the email but it was still canceled amd would not see me. I missed work and pulled my child out of school to come to this appointment. They did not care that it was their fault. Offered an after hours appointment and I can not make that. Have not received a call back from the manager and I doubt I will. Horrible service and they don't care
