The doctor treated me and my son horribly, I would hear him laughing and being very friendly to the other patients in the other rooms but once he got to us his whole demeanor would change and he would treat us both so bad and he would ignore my concerns. The receptionists and the nurses always had nasty attitudes no matter how much I said hi and smiled at them they were very stuck up and rude they wouldn’t even speak to my son they would just demand him to get on the scale and this one lady kicked my sons sneakers around instead of asking me to move them out her way. My last straw was when I thought my son had sleep apnea and I was telling the doctor and he wouldn’t even pay me any mind he wouldn’t even look at us or acknowledge us. Children’s Medical is back! The ladies at the front desk greeted us with a friendly smile and were very polite while helping us. The new APRN Brenna is amazing as well as the new nurse Ashely. My daughter has anxiety but felt completely comfortable expressing her concerns when Brenna gently asked. Brenna and Ashley were very kind, compassionate and attentive to my daughter’s worries. They took their time making sure all of our questions were answered and never made us feel rushed. My son saw Dr. Lavalle and also had a pleasant experience. We are thrilled with the positive changes to the office.

I have been seeing dr Wayne and dr Germano for 33 years. After my son was born he started seeing them. They both have since retired. Today’s visit with dr lavellee was absolute horrible. My son has been having allergic reaction for two weeks now! I had called in two times to answering service it took him over an hour to get back! I went in for the visit today because after steroid treatment and everything else his reaction was not getting better. Lavelle referred us to an allergist (which I called during our visit) they didn’t take our insurance. As a doctor shouldn’t you refer us to someone who could take our insurance! I proceeded to tell him that and he said ok I’ll put it into Yale but good luck getting an appointment you can never get in there! I was offended that he said that. If Wa

The whole place looks run down and dirty. Being outdated is one thing but even the floors look filthy. Maybe they're just old. But it just does not seem like a clean office. Never had any issues with the Drs there but they haven't had any female physicians in a couple years now so that was a growing concern as my daughter got older. One of the nurses was always rude and would make unnecessary and unprofessional comments to my daughter about her weight. Dr Wayne was great but good luck being squeezed into his schedule. And the wait times were always crazy. Drs are going from multiple rooms at a time. One time waited in the room for 45 mins before a Dr came in. Not a fun experience with an antsy toddler. Do not take your children to children’s medical !!!! Both of the best doctors they had are retired ! My child went there for 12 years and we had to call due to an emergency and Dr Lavalle’s response was,” I can reevaluate him in the morning .” We called one of my child’s specialists from Yale and they said to take him to Yale children’s hospital immediately! We are still in the hospital since Tuesday . If Dr Wayne was still there he would’ve called to check in on my child . My advice is find another pediatrician !
