Children's Dental FunZone - Montebello

Children’s Dental Fun Zone in Montebello always looks very clean and it’s very kid-friendly. The staff is great, especially the girls at the front desk. They are always very polite and friendly. I also appreciate the dental plan we came up with for my son and look forward to moving forward with his treatment.

My daughter and I absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly and courteous. After having my daughter go to a previous dental appointment two weeks before and telling her she had no cavities, I was shocked to find out this dentist found several cavities and possibly have to do a root canal! It just shows how good this place is with their X-rays and how bad the other place was doing through out the years with their X-rays. I'm definitely staying at Fun Zone.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is terrible. I do not recommend it to anyone. My mother in law has been taking my son in for us because we have not been able to miss work to take him. They did not tell me parent had to be present in booking the appointment, would not see him when she went to bring him the first time but made an exception, took him to the second appointment myself for his braces and thought it was fine for him to be brought back for his filling, now they will not see her and giving her a hard time at the front desk. I will never go back here again. They have lost 3 patients now with my kids. There is so many options for dentists in this area, absolutely do not consider going here. I've been bringing my autistic son here for year's now. And I never had any complaints with the staff or the doctor's everyone has always been welcoming. And I am grateful for that. But for the past year's you haven't been able to honor appointments anymore. My son was due for his 6 month check up. I alway's request the earliest appointment for the same reason that they don't honor appointments here anymore. His appointment was at 9am on a Saturday we didn't get home until past 11am that's how bad it's been. What's the point of appointments if your over booking patient's all the time. There has been times that the lobby is packed. And there's no place we're to sit. Please stop making our kid's wait so long. They get inpatient and is frustrating for all of us.

The staff at this office was absolutely amazing—kind, welcoming, and very patient, especially with my child. Unfortunately, our experience with the dentist was disappointing. My 3-year-old had just woken up from a nap and, like many toddlers, was not fully cooperative. While I understand his behavior wasn’t perfect, the dentist showed very little patience or understanding. When I asked questions about my son’s cavity, the responses felt short and came across with an attitude. One comment in particular—“Well, I didn’t put them there, did I?”—felt unprofessional and unnecessary, especially when speaking to a concerned parent. I truly appreciated the staff, but I hope the dentist can show more compassion and patience when working with young children and their parents.
