Chesapeake Urology - Hanover

Dr. Lerner is an excellent physician who is very knowledgeable and thorough with her patients and willing to listen and take time to explain what is wrong in a friendly manner. She is approachable and willing help. Dr. Lerner takes an active role in patient care! The office manager Mary is absolutely fantastic she doesn’t let any situation fall through the cracks and puts patient care first! I have not found an office that is this focused on patient care in a long time! The whole office from the receptionist to MA’s to the sono techs are friendly and welcoming such a great environment and welcoming feeling!

Poor customer service support and physician follow up. My experience was the same as Carolyn Baublitz. I went in for cystoscopy on a Friday, and developed a severe UTI by Sunday. I was in a lot of pain. I went to Chesapeake Urology to leave a urine specimen on Monday, but I never received any follow up after placing calls to their office. They left me in severe pain upon urination for days until I went elsewhere for an evaluation and received an antibiotic within an hour from another health provider. I should have known there were issues with this provider when office personnel called me to change my appointment to another time and I found out on the day of the procedure I was not on the schedule at all. They must have a high turnover rate when people cannot competently schedule appointmen

I personally want to thank Mary Wagonhoffer for taken the time to resolve my concerns! She is an amazing asset to this office and I appreciate her going the extra mile to make sure my health is taken care of!

My partner made an appointment here and wasn't told they needed a referral. They came in and was told they needed one. Why wasn't my partner told they needed a refferal when they made the appointment in the first place??? And they also overslept and were little late to their appointment. They called the office to make sure it was okay and the guy said if it was under 30 minutes, it would be okay. When they got there, before the 30 minute window ended, they were told by the rude lady at the desk that the doctor didn't see late patients.... ????? This place makes no sense

I had a great visit with doctor Robertson. The reason I gave 4 stars is the girl ( I did not get her name) that saw me to prepare me to see doctor Robertson was like a robot. There was no hello, how are you, please, thank you or any kind of personal gesture. I tried to break her robot behavior but couldn't. The receptionist who checked me in was polite, courteous and a pleasure to start my visit.
