Champlain Valley Oral Surgery

Just got a procedure done here on the 20th of March. I had to get a tooth removed that I had broken off and my gums grew over the remaining tooth. Dr. Freeman was highly professional and his staff the same, I was comfortable even though I was anxious and a bit nervous as is expected. I felt no pain no discomfort at all. Dr. Freeman was talking to me the whole time to give me micro updates of how the procedure was going and to me that was huge it set me at ease hearing his voice. Going to the dentist and or oral surgeon is a loaded with anxiety naturally but I think Dr. Freeman did a wonderful job I am extremely happy. I woke up the next morning feeling like I didn’t even go to an oral surgeon, I had to get the tooth drilled out because it was so long, it wasn’t a simple yank back and forth

This was two difficult appointments. I've never had so much pain in my life at any oral surgeons. I've had numerous teeth 🦷🦷🦷🦷pulled out both by dentists and oral surgeons. I would add a picture but it's too gross to look at my face. Not only was I swollen, looking like I had mumps. I also I had black, blue, yellow and purple welts on one side of my face to my neck. Convenient location. Plenty of free parking. Independent building. Nice lobby. Staff were helpful. $$$$ expensive. Handicap parking.

I needed to have my back tooth extracted today. My dentist referred me to go here for it. I LOVED this place! Every single person from reception, to dental assistants, to the Dr. himself were awesome! Very kind, warm and a sense of humor, which is great in this type of circumstance haha! The Dr. informed me of everything he was doing step by step, checking constantly to see how I was doing. It was a wonderful experience! I was so comfortable from the minute I walked in! The facility is ‘immaculate!!!’ I took notice of that right away. I told the surgeon as well and he replied, ‘it better be.’ What a fantastic experience ‘regardless of the pain I will feel when I’m no longer numb’, lol! I’d go back there anytime and highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you all so much for taking care of me

The staff here are excellent and after having all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted, I was feeling fine once things wore off. There wasn't a lot of associated or residual pain and I could tell that Dr. Freeman and company took very good care of me. The front desk and administration staff were so friendly and helpful every time I interacted with them. It was a very refreshing feeling to combat my natural anxieties about dental procedures. If I magically grow more wisdom teeth, I'll be making more appointments with this office. Thank you CVOMS for taking good care of me.

The oral surgeon at this practice does not have empathy for his patients pain, is condescending, does not properly educate post surgical care and blames patients for when he makes a mistake. This oral surgeon did not provide anxiety medication during a painful and stressful situation when requested. When his patient was hemorrhaging for more than 10 hours from one of the wisdom tooth extraction sites, he blamed the patient for not holding the gauze in the correct place and did not acknowledge the fact that it took two stitches to fix the bleeding. The rest of this staff was professional and friendly but I would never recommend this oral surgeon to anyone.
