The facility that I actually have my skin cancer screwings is English Dermatology, Desert Ridge branch. It is conveniently located north of the Pima Freeway at Tatum Blvd. & Rose Garden Lane in north Phoenix. I guess it is affiliated with the Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. The clinic is clean, comfortable, and there is ample parking. This was my second treatment by physicians assistant Kenan Arkawi and I have only positive things to say about the facility, staff, and Kenan. My appointment started on time and I was in the waiting room less than five minutes before being escorted to the exam room. I’ve been going to Dr Kenan for my Dermatology needs for over five years, and I’ve been very pleased with the patience and expert care he takes of my skin at Center for Dermatology. He knows and works well with all skin types. And being a AA woman and commercial actor it’s very important to know what products work effectively for my melanin, age spots, scaring and skin discoloration. The proof is in the pudding. I was referred here by my primary care to see Kenan Arkawi. The office staff were very quick to get me checked in and I waited less than 10 minutes for my appointment (I arrived pretty close to my appointment time so they weren't late in calling me back). The MA Lee R was super kind and professional in getting me situated (you know when you meet someone and you just click? I appreciated that). I didn't have to wait very long for Arkawi and his team---they were all very quick and he answered the few questions I had. I liked being in and out of the office quickly yet didn't feel rushed.
