Carson Valley Health Hospital

Their lab use to be so good before they moved it behind the building. I had to wait damn near almost an hour to get a fasting blood draw. The waiting room wasn't even full it was because they only had one phlebotomist working that day!!

I was referred to Carson Valley Health Rehab for physical therapy for my back. I called six different times trying to schedule an appointment and was never able to get through or receive a call back. It became clear they are either extremely overbooked or not able to take on new patients. I ultimately went elsewhere for care. It is disappointing, especially when you are in pain and simply trying to follow your doctor’s recommendations.

I would have (and did) recommened Carson Valley Medical Center before their change. I found Carson Valley Health no longer a friendly place like it once was. Granted the people I interacted with in the imaging and labs departments were cordial, but more stand offish. Who figured it a good idea to have the imaging and labs so for apart...and you can only access the labs by going outside to enter. I am a senior and that walk was not something I would want to do often. Also before the change we had privacy when registering. Good point is the results were given the same day.

Update due to recent doxxing me This has to do with requesting a copy of a diagnostic blood test that had been denied for a 3rd time by insurance. Before I could finish my question I was interrupted while speaking then, in the loudest voice for everyone in the waiting room to hear, started berating me about Her limitations at not being a Dr. Then, the person next to her chimed in about the denied code, you're not getting the test blah blah blah yada yada barf. When I finally was able to speak I said, I just wanted a copy of the denied codes so we can get the correct codes. Person #2 threw the copy across the counter at me, said disparing comment and I replied likewise, my bad in this bizarre situation. How many codes can there be for the ca 125 blood test that measures One thing? Many. All

Worst experience in the urgent care. The Dr on duty was very rude and unsympathetic! I went in there for an expose nerve in my tooth as he gave me a shot without even numbing it yet and had to justify way he couldn’t give me anything for pain. So I ended up leaving in more pain as he continued to argue with me about pain medication!
