Carroll Hospital Center

From the ER to the OR, these folks are the friendliest, most helpful group I've dealt with. We have a choice of another hospital that's the same amount of time from us and we will go to Carroll every time. They are quick, efficient, friendly and caring. Every time my famil has had to go they follow up the next day to check in on us. I have never been to any other hospital that has done a follow-up in 50 years. The PACU nurses Stephanie & Wendy were absolutely the best. While Stephanie kept me giggling pre-op and post-op, Wendy was setting my family at ease. Nurse Shy in the ER was so sweet and attentive. Dr Grigoli and her PA from surgery were amazing at explaining what was happening and putting me at ease. The anesthesiologist was wondeful explaining steps and asking if I was ok. Even the

Had a physical, painful lump on a sensitive area, if you catch my drift. I was worried it was a common male cancer. I received a sonogram and a visit from a physician's assistant. They could not find the lump, after I physically pointed it out. I was told to just go to a urologist. Because I left one job and was waiting to start my new job, I didnt have health insurance for the 5 days. The bill was 2200 dollars. 2200 dollars for lackluster care and to be told "yeahhhh we dont know what the problem is... go see a specialist". I wouldn't even trust the staff here to preform an autopsy on me.

As many times as I have been to the ER this was by far the best treatment I have had. Er was very busy this day and they were well staffed. Thanks for the great treatment from Nursing,Doctors and the Techs. The Nursing staff also should be recognized for the way they handled a distressed elderly patient. Great job

I had an unexpected 4 night stay at CHC. I found almost all nursing and associated workers to be very competent and willing to do all they could to make me feel like I mattered. The ancillary staff that came around to help with the emotional aspect of my stay were very comforting. A volunteer brought me a gift pack from some elementary school children. I wish I knew what school they were from because it was so appreciated even though they may have not realized how much it meant to a patient. My only concern is that I wish the doctors directing my care would have communicated better with me.

Everyone I encountered was professional and nice some were especially empathetic. Took awhile to be seen after initial intake and flu/Covid/Strep testing but it was the ER, not Urgent Care...but then again it was mid evening on New Years Eve and all the Urgent Care places were closed so I was grateful the ER was open...worth the wait. Got me started on a dose of Tamiflu as all the pharmacies were closed too...again...grateful.
