My experience was positive. I called ahead to arrange a wheelchair and they had it ready. The staff were all very kind and informative. They answered all of our questions and checked on me several times. My ankle surgery was quick and they explained the procedures throughly. Thank you!

I went to CMC (on a Wednesday early morning) to get simple blood tests and a chest x-ray as part of a pre-operation clearance that my primary care physician, who is in Colorado Springs, needed to provide for a surgery I was scheduled to have in San Antonio (2 days later on a Friday). I told the lab and imaging technicians that it was urgently necessary for my physician to receive the results of exams quickly so he could evaluate them and provide the clearance the next day to the surgical center. The lab technician said the blood test results would be provided by the end of the day and the imaging technician said the x-ray images would be available no later than next day morning. Neither results were provided to my physician as stated by the technicians and as needed in time for the surgery

Great staff but unfortunately fraudulent billing practices. 800 dollar self pay bill went to 4500 once they found out I had insurance. On top of that they didn't even give insurance information to anyone else involved. Oilfield town hospital at its finest.

Everyone was nice and friendly. The only problem was with the lady that checked me in she made me feel terrible for going back the second time and I almost walked out but the doctor had already done some reading and told me that I was getting admitted. People dont always go back just because they feel like it and she needs to treat everyone like it could be worse you never know. But the rest of the staff have 5 stars from me.

I've been an inpatient from ER visits 12 times in the last 12 months. Some fairly serious stuff. I love the nurses and Drs. They do the VERY best they can under very stringent corporate oversight. I do wish more doctors and other experienced staff would stay, make their homes here. But alas, they move on to less stress, or higher pay, lower cost of living, or better chances for advanced learning in their chosen fields.
