CareNow Urgent Care - Thousand Oaks

Just visited this location and after signing in online I was seen within 10 minutes of arrival. I had my vitals taken, seen by Romeo Garza, X-Rays and my prescription for meds sent to my pharmacy in less than thirty minutes. I would expect nothing less from this location both Romeo Garza and Christina Silos which are both excellent. All staff have always been professional, polite and helpful. My family of five have beeen visiting this location for years even before they changed to their new name but with the same staff. We pretty much use this location as our regular providers for any medical need. I am a veteran and have never had an issue getting my visits covered by the VA.

I received super care by Christina NP and Kristina, MA for which I am most grateful. Their professionalism was truly outstanding. I thank them and all staff for taking such good care of me! I would highly recommend this facility and staff without any hesitation….. again a big thank you !

God my 94 year old mom in quickly, but the doctor seemed at a loss on how to treat an elderly person. Did urinalysis, chest X-ray and culture for Covid and flu and tested blood sugar. My husband and I have had this same virus/upper respiratory illness - he for a week now and me for 3 days. Mom now has it. Husband and I were in there the day before and tested negative for flu/civid/strep. They did chest X-ray on hubby and he has a bit of pneumonia in lower left lung and bronchitis. Had asthma as a child and very susceptible to bronchitis, etc. so no surprise there. Prescribed 2 antibiotics and inhaler and gave him a nebulae treatment. I going med for cough. Mom was prescribed Keflex and med for nausea?!!! She threw up early in the day from phlegm. She is allergic to penicillins,

I went in with an ear infection and severe pain. I was given a topical solution for the ear infection, but nothing for the pain. He told me to use Tylenol and Motrin. I told him those didn’t work, I had been in pain for two days already. I was told basically told that I should learn to live with the pain for the next 48 to 72 hours.

I went to the CareNow urgent care located on Thousand Oaks and Jones Maltsberger. Great service and personnel very attentive to to your needs. Starting from the young lady on the front desk to the nurse and doctor. Had to wait a bit but that's OK. Thank you.
