After 4 days of feeling really lousy, I made an appointment with CareNow urgent care Riverside. I have no complaints at all about the wait times, the receptionist, med tech or doctors. The waiting room and clinic rooms were clean and professional looking. I don’t understand the several 1 star reviews. I was examined by a doctor and received flu and Covid testing and was back home within an hour. Yes, I had a co-pay but way less than a trip to the ER. If needed, I would go back.

From my Yelp review: I was transferred over to this facility from the Mueller location (total nightmare). I had a rough trek down 35 but once I got here, I had wonderful assistance from Carolina. I checked in on the digital screen but was seen within 5 minutes (including payment time). Carolina was helpful when taking my vitals and did so with care and expertise. Ana performed all of my swabs and tests and did so with severe professionalism. This team rocks! I cannot be more grateful for them and I highly recommend attending this location for your urgent needs. Van, the attending, was incredibly sweet. After diagnosing me, she even endorsed a recommendation at a local boba restaurant. She was super thorough in answering my questions.

CareNow would not see me because "my insurance could not be verified" on their computer system despite having my valid insurance card IN HAND and despite having been seen at this facility using this same insurance coverage within the past handful of months. For some reason having a problem with their verification system is my problem, not theirs. Sure they were willing to see me if I paid the full fee upfront and sought my own insurance reimbursement, which was very generous of them, but what normal person can swing that. The medical system in this country sucks so hard and CareNow doesn’t help at all. Go USA.

Terrible experience. I checked in online, and it said there were zero patients ahead of me and no wait time. When I arrived, the waiting room was empty, and I could see nurses and staff in the back not doing anything. I asked for an ETA and was told they couldn’t give me one. Eventually, it felt like they started avoiding me altogether—at one point, they even left the front desk completely unattended. After waiting 40 minutes with no updates, I left. I was clearly frustrated, and the man at the front desk didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to check on the delay, and didn’t make any effort to help. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing—especially considering I was in a lot of pain. To make matters worse, I was still charged even though I was never seen by a provider.

I have gone here on many occasions and the PA Rachel that was on duty was so non-concerned to find a resolution for my issues today. She was very concerned in pawning me off to the ENT. Previously with PA Murray he is excellent in trying to help the patient with their symptoms. PA Rachel's review of the symptoms were horrible. Not as proactive to get the patient feeling better because "it was under her scope." Unfortunately I wasn't satisfied so I went to a nearby ER and let me tell you, the Dr on staff was very attentive and found ways to try to get you to feel better. Walked out with a prescription for 2 meds and by that night, the nasal drip along with other symptoms were less and I was not as miserable. I'm so happy I went to the nearby ER because PA Rachel basically just wanted
