CareNow Urgent Care - Barton Springs

It was so wonderful to visit this urgent care! It’s clean, nice environment. I would like to say Thank you to lovely staff today Leslie the front desk, MA Desiree and Mary Grace the provider that gave proper care at my visit. I would highly recommend!

Great care provided for an urgent care situation. Online tool was easy to use and very straightforward. The doctor was fantastic. Overall staff very helpful, pleasant and competent.

I'm weary of urgent cares to begin with, and this location put me over edge. Scheduled an appointment to review 2 ailments for 8am Monday morning. First the front desk staff tried to tell me my co-pay was 75 when it clearly says 50 on the card. Then staff took me to a room and after describing what I was in to see them for told me that I had to choose one or the other. Asked why was simply told "we can't because of insurance". No creative solutioning, no empathy, no human care. What happened to doctors taking and upholding the Hippocratic Oath? Oh never mind, these people are probably not doctors but instead operate a factory line intended to collect insurance payments and co-pays. Shameful.

The initial visit to the clinic was pleasant and quick. The medical staff in the back was friendly and answer any questions I had while I was there. However, the male receptionist is condescending and does not take your concerns seriously. When I called back asking to talk to a doctor about my visit, he seemed to just repeat basic information from the discharge paperwork and said he would notate the account. No guarantee that I would receive a call. I don’t think I will ever use this location again due to his lack of care and concern.

My wife and I came to urgent care today. It was a great overall experience. I thank you all for helping my wife today. Shout out to Mary Grace, Leslie & Desirae.
