CareNow Urgent Care - Avery Ranch

December 18, 2025 – around 1:00 PM I went to CareNow Urgent Care – Avery Ranch after calling ahead and confirming they accepted my insurance. I was very sick and my child has been hospitalized for 4 days with pneumonia and influenza. The hospital itself advised me to seek urgent care so I could continue caring for her safely. My insurance confirmed by phone that my individual out-of-pocket maximum was met since July and that this clinic is in-network. Despite this, I was told I would not be seen unless I left a credit card on file. I was not refusing to pay—I requested that insurance be billed first. If I could rate this a zero I would. This place is truly ridiculous. I had an injury happen in November, I've been trying to work with the doctors on what I should do. First of all they misdiagnosed me(which was a PA) and then I was seen by the doctor there and they referred me to an MRI, then I finally got a brace during my second. The second PA , who I saw Jan- Feb Chioma was also just completely awful. I tried multiple times to tell her about my discomfort in my knee, she dismissed it. I brought people along with me and they both said she was awful to me and did not try to hear me out. Then last of all she told me I was lucky that I even got an MRI and most people don't get that, even though my knee was moving side to side. My mom felt extremely dizzy when she woke up and asked me to take her to the ER. I knew it would take hours if we went to the ER so I wanted to try urgent care first. I was able to get on the waitlist online 15 minutes before I drove her to this place. Once we arrived we were able to get the paperwork done and get her seen in less than 15 minutes. All the staff took actions right away as soon as they saw her condition. The NP was able to diagnose her quickly, and put her on medicine and sent us home in an hour. She was feeling much better on the same day and hopefully she will be recovered soon. Really appreciate this team’s immediate care and professionalism!

I had bad back pain and they diagnosed it with sciatica. Great customer service the doctor was okay but he is just the serious type. I like the option of getting you in line when you book on google map and it’s very efficient. Other urgent care you wait 2-3 hours. I had no wait because registration and check in is on your phone. They send you the link. Very clean and professional and great job.

I had a really pleasant visit considering that I wasn't feeling well. Everyone was super nice and took good care of me. From the check in receptionist, the take in assistant and even to the young person who gave me an injection. Melissa, was engaging and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend them and glad to have found them.
