Cardiology of San Antonio | Stone Oak

Took my son here the other day and absolutely everything was amazing about this office. Easy parking ( free ), front office staff were so warm and welcoming, the nurse was gentle and explained things so well, the echocardiographer had a movie playing while my son got his scans, the doctor explained everything to me so well. They have a treasure box too! The office was clean! We got cleared so unfortunately we won’t go back to the office but if I do ever need future treatment I’ll go here!

I just had the best experience I’ve ever had at any doctor’s office with my son. He has autism, is non-verbal, and has a lot of sensory issues. He always refuses any medical exams. This was the first time in years that he let anyone take his blood pressure, height, weight, and he let them do an echo exam. I was amazed. The front desk receptionist was the sweetest and checking in was quick and easy. The nurse (I believe her name was Carolina) was the best! She explained everything to my son and interacted amazingly with him! You could tell she had so much experience. She’s the type of nurse you hope to get! The tech who did his echo was also great. I do not recommend this office, during the visit my daughter struggled with the heart ultrasound as any toddler would and they put in their notes that she was fussy. My pediatrician later confirmed this. The office scheduled me to another location in medical center because it was apparent they did not want to see my daughter again. No patience at all towards her the tech who did the ultra sound was rude and they never billed or notified me of a bill and one year later sent me to collections. You would think an office that specializes with kids would be better equipped and patient with toddlers/babies but they are not. Do not recommend

Brought my daughter in for an appointment after being referred by our pediatrician and the whole experience was great. Truly made us feel cared for. Mary, Mary and Doctor Johnson were all incredible. Thank you!!
