Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

I have never felt more at home than during my time at Cape Heritage. I have lived in multiple nursing homes, and nothing compares. The activities department has made an incredible impact on my life, and I take great pride in attending everything the recreation department has to offer. One of my favorite activities is arts and crafts because I enjoy expressing myself through creative arts, and I especially love sharing my artwork with others by gifting them some of my projects. I have made long-term friendships here, and I know I have the support of both my friends and the CNAs and nurses at this facility. Thank you to ALL of the staff at Cape Heritage Rehab and Health Care Center! I'll always remember ALL that you did for my brother, Phil (and me!) Every department provided wonderful care: nurses with tender compassion and medical knowledge, caring CNAs, social activities, physical therapy, social workers, recognition of residents' and family needs, help with insurances and accounting, kitchen cooks and servers, maintenance and laundry personnel, welcoming receptionists, and all who assisted in various, important ways! I’ve been a resident here for 10 months as soon as I got here I felt at home. I have been in multiple nursing homes. But this one feels like a small cruise ship. My experience here has been wonderful. The recreation department is appreciated they provide services 7 days a week, I live for coffee hour and the social aspect in activities and makes me feel right at home. I give it a 5 star recommendation for you and your family.

If I can give them 0 stars I would! My father was let go there bc they claim he’s too healthy even though he’s disabled and walks with a cane… they made him leave without helping him with his social security checks so he came home with no money. Now I’m fighting with Cape heritage bc my father only came home with a week with of his epilepsy medication! CVS will not give him refills without his Drs referral! They won’t even let me speak to the nurse there that prescribed him his medications & will not help!! Mind you they keep hanging up on me every single time too. This place !!! Stay away from it!!! It’s awful. They will throw your loved ones out without a single care in the world about their health or financial well being. They are only in it for the money and that is all! My poor father

Food from menu not accurate 50 percent of time. Trouble getting medical assistance. Very frustrating. Third day in a row wrong food. Photocopied menu and showed worker. She ignored me and said, "Well, you are on a soft diet." What has that got to delivering the wrong food? Woken nightly numerous times to attend to resident whose husband and daughter work there. Screams and hollars until she gets attention disturbing others.
