Buddy's Vets - West

A little bit expensive, especially for the prescription, but I couldn’t give them any less than five stars since they were able to slot our girl in for an urgent care appointment in the very same afternoon I called them. Really nice place, as well. It’s updated and clean. Another review mentioned how it doesn’t smell like a vet, and it that still rings true. The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were all very friendly and informative. The nurse asked many questions, and the doctor explained to me what she was doing during the wellness exam as well as how the process of the urinalysis works. Her explaining it to me gave me the ability to understand why I was waiting for as long as I was. Dr. Abby has been our cat's vet since we moved to the De Pere area 6 years ago. She is so patient with our cats and so sweet. She has gotten down on the ground to make my female feel more comfortable. I can't say enough about her.

They won't do a payment plan. All I had was 200 dollars, gave me 2 little cans of food. Don't go here! Your just a number

We adopted two rescue dogs who have both had a substantial amount of vet work (including 3 major surgeries) across the 3 states we’ve lived. We’ve had several different vet offices help us that we compare to our experience here. Buddy’s let us know the allergy medications we were paying our previous vet a good sum of money to provide were things we could buy over the counter at the pharmacy relatively inexpensively. The dogs have always been quite a handful at the vet’s office. Between the anxiety medication they’ve helped us utilize and their helpful ability to get the dogs to an exam room quickly it has really made taking them to the vet a whole lot more pleasant (hopefully for the staff also)! First of all, the vet doesn’t smell like a vet! You all know that smell 🤣 Second, the staff were super nice and knowledgeable! Our dog has had a long history and they reviewed his chart as if they had seen him before. To top it off, they called and followed up to see how our dog was doing after his first visit. Way to go above and beyond!
