Brookfield Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia

My mother lived with my wife and me until she reached her 102nd birthday. She had physical problems which required 24/7 care at that age so we reluctantly agreed with a hospital referral and had her moved to Brookfield Health and Rehab in Battle Ground, Washington. The quality of care and rehabilitation was superior. She missed being at home with us but said she felt comfortable and cared for there. We visited frequently and became familiar with the care givers and therapists. All were outstanding in their efforts to keep mom comfortable and as happy as could be under the circumstances. We would happily recommend Brookfield as a compassionate and loving facility when the need arises.

The staff couldn’t be nicer and more compassionate to the residents. They are extremely accommodating and supportive. They treat everyone respectfully. They do the best they can with what they have to work with. Now the facility it self is clean and orderly. It is not the Ritz but it is a good solid home. Home is the key word as my son; a resident, looks at it and the people as such. Thank you to the staff and management.

DO NOT send your loved ones here! My grandmother has been there only about 30 hours and it has been an absolute nightmare. She is in sound mind and arrived with very restricted mobility after a bad fall, broken femur, and hip surgery to find out that administrators signed off on her to be brought there but had not informed any of the facility staff or nursing staff that someone was coming in. She was tossed into a shared room, which would have been fine, except she was not placed in their rehabilitation wing, but residential wing with a memory care patient. It was not a safe space for her to be helpless to help herself. She was forced to go several hours without pain meds when it was well time to be medicated. Medications are not given in a timely manner and she has had issues getting medi

I was a resident in Dec,24. For nerv damage in my hip I was giving good Care and physical therapy and walked out with a Cain in 3 weeks time. I arrived in a wheelchair. I was given the tools needed to go back to work. The therapist taught me Great stretching techniques to care for myself:)! Thanks
