Vital Care - Urgent Care

My primary physician recommended vital urgent care for the pain I was experiencing. My check in experience was quite nice and easy and comforting but changed once I realized the doctor kept dismissing me. Unfortunately she caused me even more stress and gut pain after my appointment because I was given unneeded medicine prior to the diagnosis. I asked her to wait for my test results to come back before trying meds but she stated that my fertility was on the line and even worse, it could cause a hysterectomy, freaked me out so I took the meds and vaccine she recommended. Afterwards, my results came back all normal. I called the clinic to complain and ask for a refund of my visit because the doctor did not listen to me regarding my opinion on my pain. I’ve brought my 2 daughters here at different times and upon walking through the door, I was happy to have made the 30 minute drive to go to Vital Care. First, the lobby is like being home, it’s designed meticulously and very nicely to not seem clinical—well decorated, kudos to the owners. It looks and smells clean but not “bleached”. The ladies in the front are delightful, caring and professional, not to mention welcoming. The hours are accommodating and the doctors take their time to review symptoms and offer a clear course to follow, with care. It never felt like we waited and got 5 mins with the doctor just to send someone back in to dismiss us. THE best urgent care I’ve been to! I had to visit Vital Care for a particularly painful ultrasound and the tech I met with (I believe his name was Jay) was absolutely wonderful! Walking in to the building felt so comforting with the lovely decor in the lobby/waiting room and Jay was very kind and moved slowly throughout the procedure while another nurse and my husband were in the room. He was wonderful about giving verbal directions as far as what I needed to do as well as letting me know what he would be doing next before he did it. Although the procedure was incredibly painful, it was a lovely experience ad I would definitely visit again should the need arise.

I brought my daughter in for an ear infection and expected a long wait since it’s winter and clinics are usually so busy. Instead, I was seen almost immediately! We waited maybe two minutes in the lobby and were greeted by a very kind staff member named Hannah. After that, it was less than five minutes before the doctor came in. Everyone was professional, helpful, and efficient. Even though I pay out-of-pocket, the care here is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
