Dr Ahmed and his office staff have treated me exceptionally well (6 surgeries) and I’ve had his surgical team correct previous bad back and neck surgeries. Each time I’ve gotten better because he fixed the problem effectively and efficiently. I highly recommend him and his team. If you need a Neurosurgeon you need to contact his office immediately and get scheduled. He, his nurse practitioners, and his staff are consummate professionals who treat you with the respect and care you deserve.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend One of the worst medical offices I have ever experienced. My initial appointment on 24 July 2025 involved waiting over two hours in extreme pain. I was required to have an MRI before the initial appointment which I brought with me. I saw Dr. Osama Ahmed at the Brain and Spine Institute of San Antonio for about 15 minutes but my insurance was charged for 45 minutes. I brought a history of my condition but the doctor didn’t even look at it and handed it back. Instead I was recommended a couple of invasive procedures and told to return in 30 days. When I asked about pain management until the follow-up, I was offered gabapentin which I cannot take due to side effects. I was then given Lyrica. During this time I had to visit urgent care

Dr. Ahmed and all staff at Brain and Spine Institute of San Antonio, from the front desk to the surgical team, were excellent while caring for my mom. Every visit they were prepared and already had all the information ready, which made the process feel organized and reassuring. The surgery was performed very well, and we are truly grateful for the care and professionalism throughout.

Dr. Ahmed and his staff were wonderful from start to finish. I appreciate the kindness, thoroughness and professionalism while under their care. I was afraid of having surgery but Dr Ahmed put me at ease and now I’m pleased with the results from my surgery and now look forward to being pain free. I definitely recommend Dr. Ahmed and his staff.

Dr. Ahmed is the absolute Best!!! I would have to say his staff is also the Best! I have always been treated with professionalism and kindness. Back issues are difficult to live with at best and completely consuming at worst. It can suck the daily joy and any zest for life out of you. Dr. Ahmed’s caring and compassion have gotten me through two difficult back surgeries, 8 months apart. And as I already mentioned I have nothing but praise for his staff. Thank you, glo garoni
