Susan Hammond is a lifesaver! She helped my 9 year old son with vocabulary & phonics. She was able to incorporate my son’s interests in her teaching such as asking about Fortnite or Roblox. I was able to sit in the room & learned how to help him with homework, studying and how to use flashcards. She really broke things down for us to make it more manageable. I highly recommend Miss Sue to anyone looking for help with speech, vocabulary and good routines for studying, homework and getting organized. She’s the best!

Our 7-year-old son absolutely loves meeting with Ms. Sue. He has made tremendous progress in his speech under her guidance over the past three years. My son received speech therapy from Susan Hammond “Miss Sue” for 9 months and we had an absolutely amazing experience! She is very sweet, caring, and it is obvious from the first session that she is extremely experienced not only in working with children but also in providing speech therapy. What sets her apart is her ability to keep children interested by using games and toys and her education of the whole family. I felt while he was getting his lessons I was being taught as well! Mrs. Sue was a blessing when the world was shut down for Covid and we realized our 2 year old had a speech delay. It would’ve been impossible to do virtual speech lessons with a 2 year old. As soon as we met we quickly realized our daughter was in the best hands with a very experienced SLP. Mrs. Sue took her time to evaluate our daughter throughly and let us know she actually had a neurological speech disorder called apraxia of speech.
