Dr. Wong and Shannon provided excellent care. I scheduled an appointment for the same week. Dr. Wong spent over an hour on my exam, answered all my questions, and asked if I had any more. Her answers were thorough and prescriptive advice was accompanied with reasoning. I also appreciated their thorough cleaning of instruments and glasses.

A screw fell out of my glasses and I have often been able to ask a local shop to quickly fix them for me regardless of where I bought the glasses from (always offer to pay and many places say don’t even worry). They were rude and dismissive and said they can’t help me because I’m not a customer of theirs with glasses from their shop.

I just had my first appointment here and it was such an easy and pleasant experience. I have a lot of social anxiety and trouble focusing when I’m in an unfamiliar place, but both Dr. Wong and Shannon were very patient and communicated every step of the process clearly. They are transparent with pricing, have excellent bedside manner, maintain a very clean space, and run a thorough exam with a focus on holistic care and optical health education for the layman. I feel valued as patient here and that they really care about their patients’ health and eyeglasses maintenance (during my exam, Shannon was helping fix someone’s glasses and inquiring about a part or replacement right then over the phone as I was leaving). I used to like this place. I went for years. I called after awhile. I had made an appointment but couldn't make it due to covid. I told her...no response. When asked what insurance I had-the person was very rude to me. She said they no longer took that. Since I am getting married, I asked if they accepted that insurance. The woman chuckled for some reason & snapped, "of course we take that"...like I'm supposed to know that information. It was like talking to a snappy person that either needs a vacation, a massage, to learn empathy, or any kind of dopamine really. Either that or they have replaced human receptionists with robots. Rude., then again, a robot wouldn't have chuckled

Dr Wong and Shannon are both very friendly and helpful. When I had a medical emergency, they gave me a referral and helped me to get a next day appointment at the other eye clinic while the usual wait time is two month. And that happened when Dr Wong was on vacation. The day after my checkup at the other clinic Dr. Wong called me to make sure I got treated. I really appreciate their help.
