Berry Hill nursing home

Our family’s experience with Berry Hill Nursing Home while my brother was under hospice care was deeply disappointing. He had Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and was completely dependent on the staff for care. Although his medication was given within the legal one-hour window before or after the scheduled time, that delay was far too long for someone in pain and near the end of life. He waited up to 15 to 45 minutes for relief, and we were told to “be patient.” No one on hospice should have to suffer that way. One nurse entered the room smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, and during that time, hospice staff couldn’t reach anyone at the nurses’ station. Berry Hill provides great care for their residents. Nursing and Therapy departments are strong as are dietary and housekeeping who provide a homelike feeling

I give the Therapy Department a 5 star rating. Each and every therapist went above and beyond for their patients. My mother in law received the best rehab she could have possibly received anywhere. I highly recommend the rehab team at this facility! They were awesome times 10!!

Not somewhere to send someone you love! They don't find bedsores, don't treat patients with respect, nurses are lazy
