Selecting BWH for my colonoscopy was a very pleasent experience! The facility was clean, modern and comfortable. The doctors, nurses and staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Waiting time for my procedure was very short with the entire procedure taking less than an hour. Dr Martins and RN Nicole and the rest of the colonscopy staff were remarkable. Thank you BWH!

Had a hernia operation here yesterday. I have to say our experience from our first visit until we left the hospital going home, we got top notch people. I am very appreciative of how we were treated. Thanks to the many health care workers doing great work. God bless you 🙏

This was the worst ED experience I ever had. I was there from 8pm until 5:30 Am. It wasn’t until 3:00am I got a bed. The 2 1/2 hours I was in the room, no one did rounds, vitals or anything. All I heard was a bunch of nurses having non work related conversations loudly. I asked joking on my way out the door, fed up if there was only one doctor for the whole Ed and they replied yes. Patients come there for emergencies. If you’re not equipped to handle them then shut it down or have the decency to make the patient aware. So they can go elsewhere if they choose to. No excuse. That was neglect. Do better.

I’ve had to unfortunately come here several Times over the past couple months. Some staff is nice and friendly, the other acts like you’re an inconvenience, they don’t want to be there, minimizing your pain. Rude and careless in some cases. It’s easy to see who’s there for a paycheck and who’s there to genuinely care for the patients that come in without judging. Some had little to no sympathy and I’m sure I got looked at like I was being annoying but it was sincerely aggravating to see how unprofessional they treated me. I filed a complaint due to the case manager being rude and telling me she didn’t know who gave me false information. Overall very good care in spite of being in the midst of the flu outbreak. Although ER was busy and I only got a lounge chair in the hall, the care was good and atttentive. I was admitted for 3 days and care was mostly very good with a couple exceptions. Traveling nurse Manny was exceptional as were many others. One of the night nurses, Delicia, was particularly unkind. She hooked up the BP machine and left the room. It pumped up so tight it was excruciating and I still have bruises. When she came back she said, “there’s nothing I can do about it”.
