Barton Creek Pediatrics

Barton Creek Pediatrics is wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician. Dr. wheelock, Kiley, Heidi, Leslie, Ashley and all of the other staff there are lovely, professional and know their stuff. While it’s difficult to make a doctors office feel anything but sterile, I think they did a great job making it a bit cozier. We had to switch doctors as we moved and I miss them! The staff are very attentive, you get a real person on the phone all the time and get answers to your questions. I highly recommend.

What can I say about Dr. Valerie Wheelock and the staff at Barton Creek Pediatrics? They are awesome and incredible. We feel so fortunate that our child has been seen by Dr. Wheelock since he was a newborn. The PA’s and Nurses, as well s the front office staff are all great too. We feel seen, heard, and have received the highest quality of care. They are responsive when I have needed school forms or medical records, have offered referrals to high quality specialists and we trust them completely with our sweet child’s healthcare. Thank you so much for continuing to provide such wonderful care to our family.

We unfortunately had a disappointing experience with Barton Creek Pediatrics. I'm giving them 3 stars because we didn't actually even go in for an appointment so I cannot review the care they give which may be great. They were our first choice so it is unfortunate that I'm having to write this. We were told that there was a 4-6 month waitlist so they said that when our baby was born, we should call to get on the list which was fine with us. Our baby was born on a Saturday, so we called Monday (they aren't open on the weekends which is pretty standard) to get added to the waitlist. In order to be discharged from the hospital we were required to have an appointment with a pediatrician so we knew we would need to schedule with someone else in the months prior to having a spot at Barton C

My children have been patients of Dr. Wheelock for nearly 11 years and we've been extremely confident in the quality of care they've received. Dr. Wheelock and her staff are kind, compassionate, knowledgable and patient. They have always been there to answer every question every time. I also appreciate their referrals to other providers as well as medical and educational services.

We absolutely LOVE doctor Wheelock and her team. We’ve been with them for over 18 months and we love how much time she takes to sit with us and answer all our questions. We never feel rushed and this place really makes an effort to add a personal touch to each appointment. We drive over an hour to go here with our son and it’s SO worth it!! Highly recommend!!!
