Barry's Drug Center

Rude and shockingly incompetent. Was told that called back about a medication that could be filled, but I did not hear back until I called them two weeks later only to be told that they couldn't fill it. Tried to pin the blame on me for "not calling us back". The customer should be informed if they are not able to fulfill an order. No one has the time to call after every single medication and ask if a pharmacy is able to fill it.

We've used Barry's for several years and have had nothing but great experiences. It's nice to use a small pharmacy where the staff and Pharmacists get to know you and they always take the time to explain everything. We've felt that Barry's is part of our care system rather than just a place to pick up meds.

I don’t even live in Manhattan any longer and I still drive into town to keep Barry’s as my pharmacy. They have always been patient and thorough when filling new scripts and answering any questions I have. Thank you!

They have to be some of the most patient, kind and knowledgeable people I've ever met. I've got questions, they have answers. I need someone to contact my doctor and or med provider to find out what the heck is going on, they are ontop of it. I feel very comfortable there, and they always have been accommodating and kind. I've had a lot of issues with diff meds, and sometimes have even called them crying and in distress over side effects. I will always go to them over any other pharmacy. They most assuredly have won me over. And if you've exhausted every option, are tired of arguing with med providers, nurses, ins companies etc, you should ask for Tim. He has always taken the time to help me figure out what's happening and the best avenue to take. But overall, just a wonderful team.

Update 2024…. All of this remains true!! Of all the choices I have to purchase meds in my life, I choose Barry's Drug Center due to the high level of service and helpfulness of the staff. I get answers to questions, without being made to feel like I'm bothering them. While I trust my pharmacist implicitly, advice is given in a manner that leaves me free to make decisions regarding my healthcare. They are all super friendly as well. No other pharmacy even comes close.
