K+Stat Urgent Care

I took my 9 year old in because she had a bug bite that I thought looked like a spider bite. The provider walks in, coughs in his hand, then coughs in his elbow and says "im not sick, I just choked on my spit", puts hand sanitizer on and then proceeds to pick the scab off of the bug bite and squeeze it to the point of bruising, without telling us what he was doing. Then he looks at me and says "Are you okay? You look confused". I said "Yeah, you dont have any gloves on." Then he said to put antibiotic ointment on it and it should be fine. He was so unprofessional and we left feeling gross and uncomfortable. My daughter said when we got into our vehicle, "He coughed in his hand and then touched me. I'm probably going to get sick now." This cannot happen.

Checked in online for a minor burn 🔥 on my finger. Was able to get appt for in just 20 minutes. PA was fast & excellent. She reminded me if I had a history of MRSA; which I did, I needed a RX ointment. Gave me quick instructions on bandaging it twice a day and I was outta there in less than 30 minutes. Took longer to fill out all the forms than to get taken care of! Anyways, the PA was super sweet & even let me leave unbandaged so I could do plasma. (If plasma sees so much as a bandaid on they get all vapor-locked...lol. If you know, you know!!) Excellent care!!! Office lady very nice & polite too!!

Denied us discharge papers so we could properly remember how to treat our daughter according to protocol. Said they didnt have access to them when we went back in, but in an earlier phone call had looked up information with protocol. We had wanted a paper copy in hand because the verbal visit instructions were interpreted differently than what was stated in the phone call later when checking up on what our steps should be & we wanted to avoid further confusion. Said we had to wait all weekend to find out through medical records what the instructions were. Meanwhile, how do we treat our child? I asked for a detail of services for my insurance review & to submit to Aflac & was also denied. An urgent care clinic should be able to provide you with a detailed breakdown of the services you recei

I was seen last week for a persistent sore throat (I have officemates who are immunocompromised and didn't want to share anything). Staff was kind, respectful, and funny to boot. They explained the self-pay charge up front, kept me informed every step of the way, allowed me to make decisions in my own care, and got me in and out in less than an hour. After having an awful experience at another urgent care in town, this was a breath of fresh air and I'll happily return if the need arises.

Really nice experience. Treated us quickly, would have loved a little more Indepth exam. I felt like once they saw the ear infection they didnt do much of an exam after that. But they explained everything and helped us quickly.
