Tooth Story Dental

We were looking for a pediatric dentist for my two year old. He had fallen out of bed and it pushed back one of his teeth. He had a bump appear on his gums above the tooth. Dr. Emilie knew right away that the tooth was infected and needed pulled. My son had never been to the dentist so I was nervous of how he would do. They made him feel so comfortable and they were also very accommodating. They turned on his favorite movie and went to work! When I was brought in after the tooth was pulled, he was all cuddled up in the chair with Toby! He still talks about how great his experience was and again, he's only two! They left a great lasting impression. He can't wait to go back for a regular cleaning!

First time at this dentistry and I highly do not recommend especially for special needs, non verbal children. Remember you are your children's best advocate First impression opening the door, Red flag #1 they have a dog running around and smells like it too-urine, dog fur (this is not the same dog in the website listed as therapy dog) the dog escaped from the front door and my sister caught it, one of the assistant grabs the dog (my thought is you have dog fur all over your scrubs and work in kids mouth) Red flag #2 I expressed to them multiple times my child is autistic and echolalic and over the phone they told me he would be in a separate room to help with sensory, the assistant calls for my son and on the way to the back then tells me that they don't allow parents to go back with the

I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with this dental practice. Over the past five years, we trusted them with our children’s dental care, but in hindsight, I feel misled. We were told repeatedly that saving our children’s teeth wasn’t possible, reading the other reviews, seeing how this also happened to other parents who love their children has left us feeling frustrated and disheartened. The communication style of some staff members came across as condescending and dismissive, which made us feel uncomfortable and undervalued as patients. Smells like urine thought it was maybe cause something happened but 6 months later for our 2nd appointment it still smells like urine. Waited 20 mins in a stuffy urine room and asked if they informed them we were in the room. They said they'd let them know. Waited another 10 mins and decided to just leave and not come back. Save your time if you like something more classy.
